The hotel is right by the bus/tram/train station and only a 5 min walk from the old town. We stayed on the 8th floor and could only hear an occasional ambulance not much more.The room although small had all the things one might need for a comfortable stay( mini fridge to cool your water/TV/ desk) The european breakfast bar catered for all breakfast needs.

I have to say I had no expectations of this hotel but it is actually super nice. Firstly, the staff was friendly. Secondly, the location is impeccable: one can simply reach the hotel in ONE MINUTE once he gets out of the train station. It's very easy to get to the city center. Many options of cafes and restaurants and supermarkets. There is a fridge in the room, which is a bonus in summer. Overall I enjoyed very much of my stay there. If I ever come back again I'd definitely stay here again.

Convenient location, friendly staff, good for a quick stay in Freiburg if passing through or especially if you have an early train or a train arriving late at night

Location, location, location! Not just that it is next-door to the train station, but we are less than a 15-minute walk from our favorite restaurants. We love running next door to get snacks and groceries and chilled wine for our room. There are always trains coming and going, which is a thrilling view for train-starved Americans. We stayed five days and made two quick day trips on the train to Switzerland. The hotel has a green program that allows us to skip a room clean for a day in exchange for a 5 Euro voucher for something fun from the drinks and snacks pantry in the lobby. We love the little fridge in the small but efficient room, too. This is our fifth stay here. and we'll be back!

It is just outside the station, ideal for travelers, especially if they need to leave early in the morning. The bed was very comfortable.

The intercity hotel is a newish building that is located metres away from the main train station in Freiburg. It was raining when we arrived early and the person on reception allowed us an early check in. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. Luggage storage is available for early check ins as we as storing baggage once you have checked out for late transport options.

Location at the Hauptbahnhof was very convenient. It was also convenient to have a mini refrigerator in the room. The room rate was very reasonable.

Right next to Freiburg Train Station 10 mins walk from Freiburg city center Pretty much everything is accessible by foot! We got to see the New Year's Silvester from our room Window!

Business yet cosy, fully equipped rooms in a strategic location next to the railway station, close to a tram line to the mountain (with a cable car) as well as a eco-grocery store (AlNatura), and a short walk from the old town. Plus a hearty breakfast. What's not to love?
