The hotel is right by the bus/tram/train station and only a 5 min walk from the old town. We stayed on the 8th floor and could only hear an occasional ambulance not much more.The room although small had all the things one might need for a comfortable stay( mini fridge to cool your water/TV/ desk) The european breakfast bar catered for all breakfast needs.

The Hotel is right next to the station - a bonus when it is raining heavily, as was the case for us. The room was well sound-proofed - we did not hear any train or traffic noise. The room was very well equipped and comfortable - there was room for everything in the main room and also the bathroom. The mattress and duvet were very comfortable.

I have to say I had no expectations of this hotel but it is actually super nice. Firstly, the staff was friendly. Secondly, the location is impeccable: one can simply reach the hotel in ONE MINUTE once he gets out of the train station. It's very easy to get to the city center. Many options of cafes and restaurants and supermarkets. There is a fridge in the room, which is a bonus in summer. Overall I enjoyed very much of my stay there. If I ever come back again I'd definitely stay here again.

Very convenient and good quality hotel almost part of the train station. Walking distance from exquisite city historic center, university, restaurants and bars. As most good hotels in Germany, it was really great to have a mini-bar refrigerator, an equipment still only offered by 'luxury hotels' in France.

It's a convenient location. The room was quite spacious. I liked the real chairs and desk area. The woman at reception was quite friendly and efficient. I used the refrigerator and I was pleasantly surprised that outdoor noises were faint.

Convenient location, friendly staff, good for a quick stay in Freiburg if passing through or especially if you have an early train or a train arriving late at night

Amazing and helpful staff.The place is clean and breakfast is awesome. They have warm breakfast for us Brits. I enjoyed my stay. There is a gentlemen at the breakfast who is so kind. I didn't manage to get his name. But Thank you for your kindness.

Excellent location and staff. The breakfast was wonderful with a large assortment of items to choose from. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Very walkable location to downtown.

It is just outside the station, ideal for travelers, especially if they need to leave early in the morning. The bed was very comfortable.
